IB Diploma Results 2024

Many London IB schools have recently shared their May 2024 IB results. It must feel good for those students to have their results already, while the rest of 18 year olds are awaiting A-Level results day on Thursday August 15th.

Below is a ranking of schools that have published their results. The three highly selective British private schools come out on top as they usually do. At the same time, several state and international schools have achieved record results. The state comprehensive school Ashcroft Technology Academy in Putney is particularly impressive, outperforming many other private and international schools.

Marymount International School London, for example, shared: “This year’s cohort of 58 students, the largest in Marymount’s 70-year history, achieved remarkable success, with a number of students achieving 43 points out of a possible 45.”

Meanwhile, Whitgift School (pictured above) announced: “Whitgift is pleased to announce that this year’s International Baccalaureate (IB) students have achieved an average score of 37 points out of 45. Nearly 50 students formed part of the 2024 IB cohort

    1. Hi. They are not included as they are not in London. Their average score in 2024 was 39.4 which would put them 3rd in this list (just behind King’s College School and NLCS).
